The EU is not known to issue import permits under Directive 2000/29, but individual member states may. Exporters should confirm any requirements with the NPPO of the member state prior to exporting. 

If an import permit is issued, the original and official translation of the Import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of making an appointment if permit details are required to be printed on the phytosanitary certificate.



Where the exporter requires lot number/s on thephytosanitary certificate for re-export purposes they must be added under the lotnumber field on the RFP.

Exportersshould verify entry requirements prior to export.
