Bacterial gall (Rhizobium rhizogenes) and Tobacco streak virus are not on the Medicago sativa seed export pathway. Freedom from these pests may be endorsed without any supporting evidence.
Endorsement 8445:
- Horsenettle (Solanum carolinense), Perennial sowthistle (Sonchus arvensis), Potato witches' broom phytoplasma and Stubby root nematode (Trichodorus viruliferus) are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
- A crop inspection report is required for endorsing freedom from Couch grass (Elymus repens) and Field pennycress (Thlaspi arvense).
- Hairy root disease (Rhizobium rhizogenes) and Tobacco streak virus are not on the Medicago sativa seed export pathway. Freedom from these pests may be endorsed without any supporting evidence.
- Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse freedom from White fringed beetle (Naupactus leucoloma).
