Explanation of the endorsement:

Endorsement 8446

  • Horsenettle (Solanum carolinense), Perennial sowthistle (Sonchus arvensis) and Stubby root nematode (Trichodorus viruliferus) are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
  • A crop inspection report is required for endorsing freedom from Couch grass (Elymus repens), Potato witches' broom phytoplasma, Bacterial gall (Rhizobium rhizogenes), Field pennycress (Thlaspi arvense) and Tobacco streak virus.
  • Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse freedom from White fringed beetle (Naupactus leucoloma).

Option 1 (Endorsement 8446)

1) Horsenettle (Solanum carolinense), Perennial sowthistle (Sonchus arvensis) and Stubby root nematode (Trichodorus viruliferus) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) The seeds were inspected during active growth and found to be free from Couch grass (Elymus repens), Potato witches' broom phytoplasma, Bacterial gall (Rhizobium rhizogenes), Field pennycress (Thlaspi arvense) and Tobacco streak virus,
3) A representative sample was inspected and found free of White fringed beetle (Naupactus leucoloma) and natural soil.
