A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Explanation of the endorsements

  • Endorsements only to be used if required by the import permit; if no additional declaration requirements are indicated, a phytosanitary certificate with no endorsement is to be used.
Endorsement 550:
  • A laboratory analysis certificate is required for endorsing freedom from Ceratocystis blight (Ceratocystis fimbriata).
Endorsement 6073:
  • Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient for endorsing freedom from pests and soil.
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 550)
1) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Ceratocystis blight (Ceratocystis fimbriata).

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 6073)
1) The consignment was found free through official testing and inspection procedure of seed borne/seed transmitted diseases,
2) A representative sample was inspected and found to be free of natural soil.
