A 0.05% tolerance for Ergot (Claviceps purpurea) applies.
The Authorised Officer must apply a tolerance of 25 seeds/kg for the combined total of the following weed seeds.

The Authorised Officer must apply a tolerance of 10 seeds/kg for Common ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia) and Giant ragweed (Ambrosia trifida). Giant ragweed (Ambrosia trifida) is not known to occur in Australia.
If required by the import permit, the statement "Not intended for cultivation" may be entered in the "Additional product description field" section of the EXDOC Request for Permit (RFP). To enable the field on the RFP, the exporter must submit a request to the EXDOC Plant Programs via email (EXDOCPlantPrograms@awe.gov.au).
Explanation of the endorsements
EXDOC Endorsement 768:
If required by the import permit, freedom from Ergots (Claviceps spp) may be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate based on visual inspection by the Authorised Officer. A 0.05% tolerance for Ergots (Claviceps spp) applies.
The additional declaration is only to be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate where the import permit specifically states this requirement. If the import permit does not require specific additional declaration for a certain pest or disease, the phytosanitary certificate is to be issued with nil additional declaration.
A Certificate as to Condition (GX46) with the following radiation statement may be issued if requested by the exporter. The issuance of the Certificate as to Condition is to certify the following radiation statement:
The goods described on this certificate have not been contaminated by radioactive elements from nuclear fall-out. They therefore fall within the permissible limit set by the Egyptian Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade.
