The Authorised Officer must apply a tolerance of 25 seeds/kg for the combined total of the following weed seeds.

The Authorised Officer must apply a tolerance of 10 seeds/kg for Common ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia) and Giant ragweed (Ambrosia trifida).
Note: Giant ragweed (Ambrosia trifida) is not known to occur in Australia.
If stated on the import permit and requested bythe exporter, the statement "Not intended for cultivation" may be entered in the "Additional product description field" section of the EXDOC Request for Permit (RFP). To enable the field on the RFP the exporter must submit a request to the EXDOC Plant Programs via email (EXDOCPlantPrograms.agriculture.gov.au).
A Certificate as to Condition (GX46E) may be issued if requested by the exporter. The issuance of the Certificate as to Condition is to certify the following radiation statement:
The goods described on this certificate have not been contaminated by radioactive elements from nuclear fall-out. They therefore fall within the permissible limit set by the Egyptian Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade.
Endorsement 6747:
No evidence required as following pests are not known to occur in Australia:
- Stem canker of sunflower (Diaporthe helianthi)
- Great ragweed (Ambrosia trifida)
- Burcucumber (Sicyo sangulotus)
- Sophora (Sophora alopecurides)
- Prickly poppy (Argemone munita)
Laboratory testing or crop inspection or area of production freedom based on state department certificate is required to endorse freedom from the following pests:
- Vertcillium wilt (Verticillium dahlia)
- Stem and bulb nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci)
- Cottony soft rot (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum)
- Witch weed (Striga spp)
- Yellow witchweed (Alectra spp.)
