Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Seeds are to be treated as per the Treatment Section below for the following pathogens:

  • Alternaria carotiincultae
  • Alternaria dauci
  • Alternaria radicina
  • Cercospora carotae
  • Erysiphe heraclei
Seeds must be disinfected prior to export with Fludioxonil 2.5% + Metalaxyl-M 1% -FS, in the dose of 2 ml/kg of seed or other product of similar action in suitable doses.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) The crop was inspected during active growth and found free from Bacterial leaf blight of tomato (Pseudomonas viridiflava), Bacterial blight of carrot (Xanthomonas hortorum pv. carotae), creeping thistle (Cirsium arvense), Field dodder (Cuscuta campestris), Alfalfa dodder (Cuscuta epithymum), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor), Branched broomrape (Orobanche ramosa), Perennial sowthistle (Sonchus arvensis), Field pennycress (Thlaspi arvense) and Carrot red leaf virus (CtRJV).
