Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Plants maybe exported in inert substrate.

Consignments are to be treated with an appropriate insecticide at recommended manufacturers requirements

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Details of treatment must be endorsed on the Phytosanitary certificate in the treatment section.

1) A representative sample was inspected and found free of San jose scale (Diaspidiotus perniciosus), Pink hibiscus mealybug (Maconellicoccus hirsutus), Apple blossom thrip (Thrips flavus) and Melon thrip (Thrips palmi).
