1) Pink hibiscus mealybug (Maconellicoccus hirsutus) and Melon thrip (Thrips palmi) are known not to occur in the area of production,
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Pink wax scale (Ceroplastes rubens), San jose scale (Diaspidiotus perniciosus), Banded greenhouse thrips (Hercinothrips femoralis), Cottony cushion scale (Icerya purchasi), Seychelles scale (Icerya seychellarum) and Banana spotting bug (Amblypelta lutescens).
