Cold treatment may be undertaken onshore or in-transit at either:
- 0 degrees Celsius, or below, for 13 days;
OR
- 1 degree Celsius (+/- 0.2 degrees Celsius) for 16 days;
OR
- 1 degree Celsius (+/- 0.6 degrees Celsius) for 16 days.
For onshore cold treatment, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and to present to the Authorised Officer at time of inspection.
Treatment undertaken in-transit will not be certified on the Phytosanitary certificate in the treatment section.
1) The consignment was inspected in accordance with appropriate official procedures and found to be free from any visually detectable quarantine pests specified by the Cook Islands Ministry of Agriculture Biosecurity Service,
2) The product has undergone onshore cold treatment for RG3 regulated pests.
Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 5510)
1) The consignment was inspected in accordance with appropriate official procedures and found to be free from any visually detectable quarantine pests specified by the Cook Islands Ministry of Agriculture Biosecurity Service,
2) Subject to in-transit cold treatment for RG3 regulated pests.
