The Cook Islands allows dosage compensation when fumigation is applied to commodities with core temperature below 21 °C (min 10 °C).
Treatment for Risk Group 2 regulated pests by Methyl bromide fumigation, at a loading of not greater than 50% chamber capacity, at either:
- 32 grm/m3 for 2 hours at 21-28 degrees Celcius,
OR
- 40 grm/m3 for 2 hours at 16-21 degrees Celsius,
OR
- 48 grm/m3 for 2 hours at 11-16 degrees Celsius.

1) The consignment was inspected in accordance with appropriate official procedures and found to be free from any visually detectable quarantine pests specified by the Cook Islands Ministry of Agriculture Biosecurity Service,
