Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Copy of the Import permit must be presented to the Department of Agriculture Authorised Officer at the time of making appointment, which is to include the approved list of seeds
Consignments are to be treated by dusting with an appropriate insecticide and fungicide at recommended manufacturers requirements.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Yates Australia is exempt from having the seed treated if the seed is commercially packaged.
