Treatment options for Yellow peach moth (Conogethes punctiferalis):
 
  • Irradiation at a minimum absorbed dose of 250 Gy;

OR

  • Methyl bromide fumigation, at 40 grm/m3 for 2 hours at 17 degrees Celsius or greater.
 
The Cook Islands allows dosage compensation when fumigation is applied to commodities with core temperature below 21 °C (min 10 °C).

1) The consignment was inspected in accordance with appropriate official procedures and found to be free from any visually detectable quarantine pests specified by the Cook Islands Ministry of Agriculture Biosecurity Service,

1) The consignment was inspected in accordance with appropriate official procedures and found to be free from any visually detectable quarantine pests specified by the Cook Islands Ministry of Agriculture Biosecurity Service,
2) The product has been fumigated with Methyl bromide for Yellow peach moth (Conogethes punctiferalis).
