- Philippine downy mildew (Peronosclerospora philippinensis) is not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
- An area freedom certificate is required to endorse freedom from Maize downy mildew (Sclerospora maydis), Downy mildew of wheat (Sclerophthora macrospora), Brownstripe downy mildew (Sclerophthora rayssiae var zeae) and Bacterial stalk rot(Erwinia chrysanthemi).
- Philippine downy mildew (Peronosclerospora philippinensis) is not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
- Maize downy mildew (Sclerospora maydis), Downy mildew of wheat (Sclerophthora macrospora), Brown stripe downy mildew (Sclerophthora rayssiae var zeae) and Bacterial stalk rot (Erwinia chrysanthemi) and present to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Treatment is not required when using endorsements 2124 or 5082. When using these endorsements, no treatment details to be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate.
The consignments are to be treated for Maize downy mildew (Sclerospora maydis), Downy mildew of wheat (Sclerophthora macrospora), Brown stripe downy mildew (Sclerophthora rayssiae var zeae) and Bacterial stalk rot (Erwinia chrysanthemi) with an appropriate fungicide at manufacturer’s recommended label rates.
1) Philippine downy mildew (Peronosclerospora philippinensis) is not known to occur in Australia,
2) Maize downy mildew (Sclerospora maydis), Downy mildew of wheat (Sclerophthora macrospora), Brown stripe downy mildew (Sclerophthora rayssiae var zeae) and Bacterial stalk rot (Erwinia chrysanthemi) are known not to occur in the area of production.
Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 5082)
1) Philippine downy mildew (Peronosclerospora philippinensis) is not known to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Maize downy mildew (Sclerospora maydis), Downy mildew of wheat (Sclerophthora macrospora), Brown stripe downy mildew (Sclerophthora rayssiae var zeae) and Bacterial stalk rot (Erwinia chrysanthemi).
