Explanation of the Endorsements

Endorsement 5385:

No evidence is required to endorse freedom from Broad bean stain virus as this is not known to occur in Australia.

Phytosanitary sampling and visual inspection by the Authorised Officer address the additional declaration statements pertaining to Bruchid beetles (Bruchus spp.).

A laboratory test analysis certificate is required to endorse freedom from Stem nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci).

Endorsement 7514:

No evidence is required to endorse freedom from Broad bean stain virus as this is not known to occur in Australia.

Phytosanitary sampling and visual inspection by the Authorised Officer address the additional declaration statements pertaining red imported fire ant (Solenopsis invicta).


Endorsement 7791:

Broad bean stain virus, Strawberry latent ringspot virus, Southern bean mosaic virus, Coffee bean borer (Hypothenemus hampei), Green point gall (Calonectria rigidiuscula), Potato yellow dwarf nucleorhabdoovirus, and Cyas necrotic stunt virus are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.

A combination of laboratory analysis certificate, crop inspection report or area freedom certificate, may be provided as evidence to endorse freedom from Spring dwarf nematode (Aphelenchoides fragariae).

Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse freedom from Red imported fire ant (Solenopsis invicta), Imbricated snout beetle (Epicaerus imbricatus), and American serpentine leafminer (Liriomyza trifiolii).
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 5385)
1) Broad bean stain virus is not known to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Stem nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci),
3) A representative sample was inspected and found to be free of Bruchid beetles (Bruchus spp.).
Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 7514)
1) Broad bean stain virus is not known to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of red imported fire ant (Solenopsis invicta).

Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 7791)
1) Broad bean stain virus, Strawberry latent ringspot virus, Southern bean mosaic virus, Coffee bean borer (Hypothenemus hampei), Green point gall (Calonectria rigidiuscula), Potato yellow dwarf nucleorhabdoovirus, and Cyas necrotic stunt virus are not known to occur in Australia,
2) The consignment was found free through official testing and inspection procedure of Red imported fire ant (Solenopsis invicta), Spring dwarf nematode (Aphelenchoides fragariae), Imbricated snout beetle (Epicaerus imbricatus), and American serpentine leafminer (Liriomyza trifiolii).
