Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.


Consignment must be labelled correctly with its full botanical name (genus and species).

Note: 
  • Restricted entry: consignments are only to be imported through Kunming Changshui International Airport.
  • Plants must be exported in soilless media.
Pests of concern to China:
  • Tomato ringspot virus (ToRSV) - Not present in Australia 
  • Fuller's Rose Weevil (Pantomorus cervinus) - Verified by AO inspection
  • Tobacco ringspot virus (TRSV) - Laboratory test required
