Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


The following are able to be certified without supporting evidence: Goss’s bacterial wilt (Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. nebraskensis), Chrysanthemum nematode nematode (Aphelenchoides ritzemabosi) and Potato rot nematode (Ditylenchus destructor) as the former is not on the seed export pathway and the later is not known to occur in Australia.


A combination of Laboratory test analysis report and Area Freddom report is to be cited for certifying freedom from Clover bacterial blight (Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. insidiosus) and Dodder (Cuscuta spp).

1) The consignment is free of Chrysanthemum nematode (Aphelenchoides ritzemabosi), Goss’s bacterial wilt (Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. nebraskensis), Clover bacterial blight (Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. insidiosus), Dodder (Cuscuta spp) and Potato rot nematode (Ditylenchus destructor).
