Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Phytosanitary visual inspection may be used to endorsed freedom from Sandburr (Cenchrus spp).

Needle Nematodes (Longidorus spp) and Tomato spotted wilt virus are not seedborne in Petunia hybrida. Tomato black ring virus is not known to occur in Australia. Freedom from these pests can be endorsed without citing an evidence.

1) Using official procedure, the consignment was found to be free of Needle Nematodes (Longidorus spp), Tomato black ring virus and Tomato spotted wilt virus.
