Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Explanation of endorsements:

Endorsement 6843:
  • Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient for endorsing freedom from Fruit fly (Bactrocera spp).
Endorsement 7284:
  • West Indian red scale (Selenaspidus articulatus) is not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
  • An area freedom certificate is required to endorse freedom from Potato spindle tuber viroid (PSTVd) and Avocado sunblotch viroid (ASBVd).
  • Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient for endorsing freedom from Fruit fly (Bactrocera spp.), Fullers rose weevil (Pantomorus cervinus), Fruit fly (Ceratitis spp.), Beetle (Batocera spp.), Fruit fly (Dacus spp.), Croftonweed (Eupatorium adenophorum) and Carob moth (Ectomyelois ceratoniae).
  • Stubby-root nematode (Trichodorus spp. and Paratrichodorus spp.), Burrowing nematode (Radopholus similis), and Needle nematode (Longidorus spp) are not on the pathway. No evidence is required for endorsing freedom from these pests.
Endorsement 7285:

The certificate must be able to be linked to the seeds presented for each consignment. If the certificate cannot link to the seeds presented directly, a signed manufacturer's certificate attesting that the seeds under the RFP presented were produced at the orchard referenced in the NIASA accreditation certificate presented must be provided.

1) The consignment was found free through official inspection procedures of Fruit fly (Bactrocera spp).

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 7284)
1) West Indian red scale (Selenaspidus articulatus) is not known to occur in Australia,
2) Potato spindle tuber viroid (PSTVd) and Avocado sunblotch viroid (ASBVd) are known not to occur in the area of production,
3) The consignment was found free through official testing and inspection procedure from beetles (Batocera spp), Burrowing nematode (Radopholus similis), Carob moth (Ectomyelois ceratoniae), Croftonweed (Eupatorium adenophorum), Fruit fly (Bactrocera spp., Dacus spp., and Ceratitis spp.), Fullers rose weevil (Pantomorus cervinus), Needle nematode (Longidorus spp), and Stubby-root nematode (Trichodorus spp. and Paratrichodorus spp.). 

Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 7285)
1) West Indian red scale (Selenaspidus articulatus) is not known to occur in Australia,
2) Potato spindle tuber viroid (PSTVd) is known not to occur in the area of production,
3) The consignment was found free through official testing and inspection procedure from Avocado sunblotch viroid (ASBVd), beetles (Batocera spp), Burrowing nematode (Radopholus similis), Carob moth (Ectomyelois ceratoniae), Croftonweed (Eupatorium adenophorum), Fruit fly (Bactrocera spp., Dacus spp., and Ceratitis spp.), Fullers rose weevil (Pantomorus cervinus), Needle nematode (Longidorus spp), and Stubby-root nematode (Trichodorus spp. and Paratrichodorus spp.).
