Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.

It is the exporter’s responsibility to ensure the consignment is exported within 14 days of inspection and the phytosanitary certificate is issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.

Refer to the departure date and inspection date in the Request for Permit.

  • Fullers rose weevil (Pantomorus cervinus)

  • Burrowing nematode (Radopholus similis)
  • Avocado sunblotch viroid, ASBVd
  • Fruit fly (Ceratitis spp.)
  • Beetle (Batocera spp.)
  • Fruit fly (Dacus spp.)
  • Needle nematode (Longidorus spp)
  • Croftonweed (Eupatorium adenophorum)
  • Carob moth (Ectomyelois ceratoniae)

1) West Indian red scale (Selenaspidus articulatus) is not known to occur in Australia.
2) Plants in this consignment have been sourced from an approved orchard which has been inspected and found free from symptoms of Avocado sunblotch viroid, ASBVd.
3) Potato spindle tuber viroid (PSTVd) is known not to occur in the area of production.
4) A representative sample was inspected and found free of beetles (Batocera spp), Burrowing nematode (Radopholus similis), Carob moth (Ectomyelois ceratoniae), Croftonweed (Eupatorium adenophorum), Fruit fly (Bactrocera spp., Dacus spp., and Ceratitis spp.), Fullers rose weevil (Pantomorus cervinus), Needle nematode (Longidorus spp), and Stubby-root nematode (Trichodorus spp. and Paratrichodorus spp.).
