Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsement 6823:

  • A laboratory analysis report is to be presented for endorsing freedom from Seed-gall nematode (Anguina funesta) and Gumming disease of grasses (Rathayibacter rathayi).
  • Black chaff (Xanthomonas translucens pv. translucens) and Root rot (Phytophthora cactorum) are not seedborne in Lolium spp and are not on the seed export pathway. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
  • Visual inspection of a representative sample by an Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse freedom from Red imported fire ant (Solenopsis invicta).
  • Bent grass nematode (Anguina agrostis) and Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa) are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
Endorsement 6943:
