Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Explanation of the endorsement:

  • Freedom from Arabis mosaic virus may be endorsed through citing a laboratory test report or crop inspection report provided by the exporter.
  • Visual inspection may be used for certifying freedom from Imported red fire ant (Solenopsis invicta).
  • Tomato black ring virus is not known to occur in Australia and freedom this pest can be endorsed without citing evidence.
  • Chrysanthemum foliar eelworm (Aphenchoides ritzemahosi), Root rot nematode (Meloidogyne spp.), Angular leaf spot (Xanthomonas fragariae), Strawberry latent ringspot virus (SLRSV), Lanarkshire disease (Phytophthora fragariae), Root lesion nematode (Pratylenchus spp) and Prunus necrotic ringspot virus (PNRSV) are not seedborne in Fragaria vesca. Freedom from these pest can be endorsed without citing evidence.

1) Using official procedure, the consignment was found free of Chrysanthemum foliar eelworm  (Aphenchoides ritzemahosi), Root rot nematode (Meloidogyne spp.), Arabis mosaic virus (ARMVs), Strawberry latent ringspot virus (SLRSV), Tomato black ring virus (TBRV), Lanarkshire disease (Phytophthora fragariae), Root lesion nematode (Pratylenchus spp), Prunus necrotic ringspot virus (PNRSV), Imported red fire ant (Solenopsis invicta) and Angular leaf spot (Xanthomonas fragariae).
