Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsement 3559:
  • Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient for endorsing freedom from American serpentine leaf miner (Liriomyza trifolii).
  • Authorised Officer Inspection, crop inspection or lab analysis report may be used to certify freedom from Russian knapweed (Centaurea repens) and Darnel grass (Lolium temulentum).
The following pests are not on the seed export pathway for Daucus carota seed. Freedom from these pests may be endorsed without citing evidence:
  • Rot (Burkholderia gladioli pv. alliicola)
  • Bacterial wilt (Erwinia chrysanthemi)
  • Blackleg of canola (Leptosphaeria maculans)
  • Needle nematode (Longidorus spp)
  • Root knot nematode (Meloidogyne spp)
  • Arabis mosaic virus
  • Fruit fly (Ceratitis spp)
  • Sturdy root nematode (Paratrichodorus spp)
  • Lesion nematode (Pratylenchus spp)
  • Bacterial leaf spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv. maculicola)

1) Using official procedures, the consignment was found to be free of Rot (Burkholderia gladioli pv. alliicola), Russian knapweed (Centaurea repens), Fruit fly (Ceratitis spp), Bacterial wilt (Erwinia chrysanthemi), Blackleg of canola (Leptosphaeria maculans), Darnel grass (Lolium temulentum), Needle nematode (Longidorus spp), Root knot nematode (Meloidogyne spp), Arabis mosaic virus, Sturdy Root Nematode (Paratrichodorus spp), Lesion nematode (Pratylenchus spp), Bacterial leaf spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv. maculicola), Burrowing Nematode (Radopholus similis), Stubby root nematode (Trichodorus spp) and American serpentine leaf miner (Liriomyza  trifolii).
