Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.

Consignment must be correctly labelled with its full botanical name (genus and species).

Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Pests and disease of quarantine concern are:

  • Cephalosporium sacchari (Sugarcane Wilt Pathogenic Bacteria) and any other quarantine organisms as specified by Chinese law.
Consignments are only to be imported through Nanjing Lukou International Airport.
