Endorsement 3386:
- Freedom from Red imported fire ant (Solenopsis invicta) may be endorsed based on visual inspection of a representative sample by an Authorised Officer.
- An area freedom certificate must be presented for certifying freedom from Crown gall (Agrobacterium tumefaciens).
Endorsement 2516:
- Tomato black ring virus (TBRV) is not known to occur in Australia. Freedom from this pest may be endorsed without sighting supporting evidence.
- Laboratory analysis, crop inspection or area freedom certification may be presented for certifying freedom from Bacterial wilt of dahlia (Erwinia chrysanthemi), Tomato spotted wilt virus and Nematode (Xiphinema spp).
- A crop inspection certificate must be presented for certifying freedom from ragweed (Ambrosia spp).

Endorsement 8321:
- Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient for endorsing freedom from Serpentine Leafminer (Liriomyza huidobrensis) and Fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda).
- Laboratory analysis, crop inspection or area freedom certification may be presented for certifying freedom from Stem and bulb nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci), Impatiens necrotic spot virus, False Columbia root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne fallax), Tobacco ringspot virus, Orthotospovirus tomatomaculae, Iris yellow spot virus and Seed-gall nematode (Anguina funesta).
Refer to import permit to determine appropriate endorsement on the phytosanitary certificate.
Notes:
- Crown gall (Agrobacterium tumefaciens) is a soil-borne pathogen that can survive in soil or inside plant as parasite. This pathogen can spread through rain, irrigation water, wind, insects, tools, and use of contaminated soil during propagation or planting. Detached galls that rest on the ground or in the soil are primary inoculum sources. As galls degrade and break down, infected tissue that sloughs off into the soil releases bacteria. Seed transmission is not reported in the literature. Seed absolutely free of soil and plant materials may be considered free of this pest. No evidence required for endorsing freedom from this pest. However, seeds containing traces of soil and other plant materials may require a crop inspection report or laboratory analysis for endorsing freedom from this pest.
- Boeremia exigua is a synonym of Phoma exigua.
- Orthotospovirus tomatomaculae is a synonym of Tomato spotted wilt orthotospovirus.
