Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Explanation of the endorsement
  • Visual inspection may be used for certifying freedom from Subgen spp.
  • Freedom from Tomato ringspot virus, Tobacco ringspot virus and Tomato black ring virus are not known to occur in Australia and can be endorsed without citing evidence.
  • Fruit fly (Ceratitis spp), Stem canker of soybean (Diaporthe phaseolorum var. caulivora), soybean stem canker (Diaporthe phaseolorum var. meridionalis), Root rot nematode (Meloidogyne spp.) and Tomato spotted wilt virus are not seedborne in Capsicum spp. Freedom from these pests can be endorsed without citing evidence.

1) Using official procedure, the consignment was found free of Fruit fly (Ceratitis spp), Soyabean stem canker (Diaporthe phaseolorum var. meridionalis), Stem canker of soybean (Diaporthe phaseolorum var. caulivora), Root rot nematode (Meloidogyne spp.), Tomato black ring virus, Tomato ringspot virus, Subgen spp, Tobacco ringspot virus and Tomato spotted wilt virus.
