Explanation of the endorsement

Endorsement 6642:

  • Nematodes (Longidorus spp, Meloidogyne spp, Paratrichodorus spp, Pratylenchus spp, Trichodorus spp, Radopholus similis) are not on seed export pathway for Brassica oleracea var. italica. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
  • Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient for endorsing freedom from Sandbar (Cenchrus spp), Garden snail (Helix aspersa), Darnel grass (Lolium temulentum) and White garden snail (Theba pisana).
  • A laboratory analysis certificate, crop inspection certificate or an area freedom certificate is required for endorsing freedom from Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. maculicola) and Blackleg (Leptosphaeria maculans).
Nil Endorsement:
  • If no additional declaration requirements are stated on the import permit, a phytosanitary certificate with no additional declaration is to be issued.

1) The consignment was found free through official testing and inspection procedure of Free living nematodes (Trichodorus spp), White garden snail (Theba pisana), Root lesion nematodes (Pratylenchus spp), Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. maculicola), Darnel grass (Lolium temulentum), Sandbar (Cenchrus spp), Nematode (Meloidogyne spp), Needle nematodes (Longidorus spp), Burrowing nematode (Radopholus similis), Sturdy root nematode (Paratrichodorus spp), Garden snail (Helix aspersa), and Blackleg (Leptosphaeria maculans).
Import permits dated 19 January 2021 and 10 January 2024.
