Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsement 7727:
  • Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient for endorsing freedom from Darnel grass (Lolium temulentum) and Sandbar (Cenchrus spp).
  • A laboratory analysis certificate, crop inspection certificate or an area freedom certificate is required for endorsing freedom from Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. maculicola) and Blackleg (Leptosphaeria maculans).
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) The consignment was found free through official testing and inspection procedure of Darnel grass (Lolium temulentum), Sandbar (Cenchrus spp), Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. maculicola) and Blackleg (Leptosphaeria maculans).
