Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Explanation of endorsement 7316:
  • This endorsement may not be required - refer to the import permit to confirm if this is required.
  • Leaf blight (Alternaria triticina), Maize chlorotic mottle virus and Maize dwarf mosaic virus are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
  • The following are not on the export pathway and freedom can be endorsed without supporting evidence: Nematodes (Aphelenchoides fragariae, Meloidogyne, Paratrichodorus, Pratylenchus and Trichodorus), Wheat eyespot (Pseudocercosporella herpotrichoides) and Stagonospora leaf blotch (Stagonospora avenae f. sp. triticea).
  • Inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient for endorsing freedom from Bearded oats (Avena barbata), Russian knapweed (Centaurea repens), Argentine stem weevil (Listronotus bonariensis), Darnel ryegrass (Lolium temulentum) and American leaf miner (Liriomyza trifolii).
  • A laboratory analysis certificate, area freedom certificate or crop inspection certificate must be presented for endorsing freedom from Tomato canker (Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis) and Stem nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci).

1) Leaf blight (Alternaria triticina), Maize chlorotic mottle virus (MCMV) and Maize dwarf mosaic virus (MDMV) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) Using official procedures, the consignment is found free from Spring dwarf nematode (Aphelenchoides fragariae), Bearded oats (Avena barbata), Russian knapweed (Centaurea repens), Tomato canker (Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis), Stem nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci), Argentine stem weevil (Listronotus bonariensis), Darnel ryegrass (Lolium temulentum), Nematodes (Meloidogyne spp, Paratrichodorus spp, Pratylenchus spp and Trichodorus spp), Wheat eyespot (Pseudocercosporella herpotrichoides), Stagonospora leaf blotch (Stagonospora avenae f. sp. triticea) and American leaf miner (Liriomyza trifolii).
