Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsement 8165:

  • Strawberry latent ringspot virus is not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
  • Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient for endorsing freedom from American serpentine leaf miner (Liriomyza trifolii).
  • A laboratory analysis certificate or a crop inspection report is required for endorsing freedom from Arabis mosaic virus, Stem and bulb nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci) and Bacterial wilt (Erwinia chrysanthemi).

1) Strawberry latent ringspot virus is not known to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of of American serpentine leaf miner (Liriomyza trifolii),
3) Using official procedures, the consignment was found free from Arabis mosaic virus, Stem and bulb nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci) and Bacterial wilt (Erwinia chrysanthemi).
