Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.

The material must arrive in transparent, closed containers, in aseptic conditions and with a sterile growth medium.

The containers must have the required air tightness to safeguard the phytosanitary conditions.

Each package must be labelled with the plant species and variety.

Each package must be labelled with "QUARANTINE MATERIAL VEGETABLE, SAG" in bold, red letters. These labels must be placed on at least two of the largest sides of the package, and cover at least 20% of the surface.

The material must meet Post-entry Quarantine requirements on arrival in Chile.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 7565)

1) The plant material has been produced through the in vitro tissue culture technique and has undergone at least two cycles of subculture and repotting. 
2) The plants originate from mother plants that were inspected and analysed using RT- PCR at the optimal time for pest detection and found to be free from Cherry leaf roll virus.
3) Raspberry leaf curl virus (RLCV), Pierce's disease (Xylella fastidiosa), Tomato black ring virus, Raspberry ringspot virus,  Cherry rasp leaf virus and Erwinia amylovora are not known to occur in Australia.
4) The material originates from a laboratory which is under control of Department of Agriculture Fisheries and Forestry for commercial supply of blackberry tissue culture material.
