Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
In-vitro tissue culture must be in a solid medium, liquid medium or without a growth medium.
Consignment must be clearly labelled with its full botanical name (genus and species).
Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.
Containers must be single-use, rigid or flexible, transparent, hermetically sealed, aseptic, ensuring the phytosanitary conditions of the plant material, resistant to handling, and labeled or marked with the scientific name of the material, the variety, the country of origin, and the name of the producer.
Plants must be prepared under aseptic conditions. Plants must be exported in sterile media, in transparent, closed containers. Containers must be watertight.
- This case is applicable to plants grown in-vitro conditions only. If you intend to export ex-vitro plants, contact horticultureexports@aff.gov.au.
- The Chilean government requires the type of laboratory analysis to be stated in point 2 of the endorsement. If a different type of analysis is to be used, please contact micorplants@aff.gov.au.
- Plants may be subject to meeting post entry quarantine requirements in Chile.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 8417)
1) The plant material has been produced using the in vitro tissue culture technique and has undergone at least two cycles of transfer or subculture.
2) The plant material in this consignment originates from a Nursery or Germplasm Repository Centre which is under the control of the official Australian phytosanitary agency.
3) The parent plants were inspected and analysed by using RT-PCR and found free of from Candidatus phytoplasma pruni (Peach X disease phytoplasma), Peach yellows phytoplasma and Candidatus Phytoplasma phoenicium.
4) Pierce's disease (Xylella fastidiosa), Candidatus Phytoplasma prunorum, Peach mosaic virus and Plum pox virus are not known to occur in Australia.
