Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
Consignment to be fumigated with phosphine at:

  • 2.0 grm/m3 for 7 days at 10-15.9 degrees Celsius;
OR
  • 2.0 grm/m3 for 6 days at 16-20.9 degrees Celsius;
OR
  • 2.0 grm/m3 for 5 days at 21-25.9 degrees Celsius;
OR
  • 2.0 grm/m3 for 4 days at 26 degrees Celsius and above
The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
