If materials are genetically modified (MGO) through modern technology the importer must declare this fact and must abide by the relevant regulations from the Agriculture and Livestock service.

1) The budwood material originates from a officially certified nursery or germplasm centre.
2) The place of production site was checked during the growth season and samples were analysed in a laboratory and found free from Colletotrichum acutatum and Monilinia fructicola.
3) The budwood comes from mother plants that were analysed by CHS 310 PCR and RT-PCR method and found free from Apple stem grooving virus,
4) The consignment was inspected and found free from; Diaspidiotus ostreaeformis, Epiphyas postvittana, Parlatoria pergandii, Pseudaulacaspis pentagona and Rhopalosiphum insertum.
