- A crop inspection certificate is required to endorse freedom from Bacterial blight of carrot (Xanthomonas hortorum pv. carotae). If, during crop inspection, symptoms of this disease are found, a laboratory analysis certificate specifying the analytical technique used and certifying freedom from Bacterial blight of carrot (Xanthomonas hortorum pv. carotae) must also be provided.
- A laboratory analysis certificate indicating that a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) process was used is required to endorse freedom from Bacterial blight of carrot (Xanthomonas hortorum pv. carotae).

1) According to the results of official laboratory test using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique, the seeds are free from Bacterial blight of carrot (Xanthomonas hortorum pv. carotae).
