Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

 
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Any consignments with an ISTA analysis certificate which states a presence of soil greater than 0.1% of the sample (weight by weight) are required to be retested in Chile for soil. If testing in Chile confirms that soil presence is greater than 0.1% of the sample weight, the consignment will be rejected. Additionally, if soil is found during on-arrival inspection in Chile, the consignment will be rejected. It is the exporter's responsibility to ensure the soil content of a consignment meets Chile's requirements.

Explanation of the endorsements:

Endorsement 762
  • Citrus greening (Candidatus Liberibacter spp), American greening (Candidatus Liberibacter americanus), Pierce's disease (Xylella fastidiosa) and Citrus canker (Xanthomonas campestris pv. citri) are known not to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 762)
1) Citrus greening (Candidatus liberobacter spp), American greening (Candidatus liberobacter americanus), Pierce's disease (Xylella fastidiosa) and Citrus canker (Xanthomonas campestris pv. citri) are not known to occur in Australia.
