This ICR applies to genus and species specified in the import permit.

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

The consignment must be labelled as specified in the import permit.

Consignment subjected to a disinfection treatment by immersion against insects and mites, indicating in the Phytosanitary Certificate, in the section corresponding to treatment, the product, type of application and dose used.

Details of treatment to be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate in the treatment section.


The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 7347)
1) The plant material in this consignment comes from a Germplasm Repository Centre which is under the control of the official Australian phytosanitary agency.
2) The location of the production shipment was inspected during active growth period and the samples extracted were subjected to an official laboratory analysis, being found to be free from Guignardia citricarpa and Elsinoe fawcettii.
3) Twigs derived from mother plants were inspected and analyzed at the optimal moment, according to their special characteristics and conditions, and through reverse transcription quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) found to be free from Apple stem grooving virus (Citrus tatter leaf virus) and Citrus tristeza virus (isolated non-Chilean), and through quantitative PCR (qPCR) found to be free from Tomato big bud phytoplasma.
4) The shipment was inspected and was found to be free from the following arthropods: Citrus flat mite (Brevipalpus californicus), Citrus flat mite (Brevipalpus lewisi), False spider mite (Brevipalpus phoenicis), Orange spiny whitefly (Aleurocanthus spiniferus), Oriental yellow scale (Aonidiella orientalis), Coconut scale (Aspidiotus destructor), White wax scale (Ceroplastes destructor), Florida wax scale (Ceroplastes floridensis), Red wax scale (Ceroplastes rubens), Pineapple mealybug (Dysmicoccus brevipes), Light brown apple moth (Epiphyas postvittana), Striped mealybug (Ferrisia virgata), Breadfruit mealybug (Icerya aegyptiaca), Glover scale (Lepidosaphes gloverii), Pink hibiscus mealybug (Maconellicoccus hirsutus), Spherical mealybug (Nipaecoccus viridis), Chequered swallowtail (Papilio demoleus), Chaff scale (Parlatoria pergandii), Citrus leaf miner (Phyllocnistis citrella), South African citrus thrips (Scirtothrips aurantii) and Chilli thrips (Scirtothrips dorsalis).
