It is the exporter's responsibility to ensurethat seeds meet Chile's quality requirements for seeds for sowing. Chile'sNPPO may reject consignments if they do not meet the requirements.
The exporter may present an 'Exempt Resolution' document issued by SAG. The exempt resolution number listed on the document may be endorsed as the import permit number and listed in the import permit number section of the RFP. If so, the original and a certified translation must be presented to the Authorised Officer at time of inspection.Exporters are encouraged to check with the NPPO to confirm current import requirements, as they may be subject to change.
