Whole vetch seeds (Vicia sativa) are prescribed grains and still require an Authorised Officer inspection and the issuance of an export permit.
Seed lots greater than 500 grams that are imported by non-authorised importers require a Seed Analysis Certificate. Certificates can be obtained from an Australian commercial laboratory or on arrival from an officially recognized laboratory in Canada.
