Conditions apply to semi-processed / unfinished wooden furniture.
Must be free from bark.
Phytosanitary certificate must be issued within 14 days prior to export to Canada.
Consignments are to be either:
- Heat treated;
OR
- Fumigated with methyl bromide.
Heat treated:
- Heat treated to a minimum core temperature of 56 degrees Celsius for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Fumigated with methyl bromide at:
- 48 grm/m3 at 21 degrees Celsius or above for 24 hours;
OR
- 56 grm/m3 at 16 degrees Celsius or above for 24 hours;
OR
- 64 grm/m3 at 10 degrees Celsius or above for 24 hours
