The consignment must be packed in such a manner to prevent infestation or spread of pests or biologicals.

Seed for propagation must meet Canadian Seeds Acts and Seed Regulations.

Endorsement 638:
  • Only applies if the import permit specifies freedom from Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa). Otherwise a phytosanitary certificate without an additional declaration will be issued.
  • Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa) is not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
