Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments are to be non GMO - Certification will only be provided for products if specifically supported from information supplied by Office of Gene Technology Regulator (OGTR) and where it is a government requirement of the importing country for government certification.

Exporters are to ensure that the consignment does not contain any genetically modified product.
Consignments should be treated with an approved fumigant at recommended manufacturers requirements.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
