Explanation of endorsement
Endorsement 8049:
- Visual inspection by the Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse freedom from Angoumois grain moth (Sitotroga cerealella) and Grain weevils (Sitophilus spp).
The consignments are to be fumigated withappropriate fumigant (when specified on the import permit) at approved labelsrate when specified on the import permit.
Some import permits require fumigation certificate to be attached with the phytosanitary certificate. For such consignments, exporters are to ensure that the fumigation certificate is attached with the phytosanitary certificate.
