Import permit number must be printed on the phytosanitary certificate.
It is the exporter's responsibility to ensure that the phytosanitary certificate is issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.
Requirements for wood packing material:
If wood packaging material is used then the wood packaging material must be treated with:
- methyl bromide at 48g/m3 for duration of 24 hrs
OR
- heat treated at 56 ° C for 30 minutes and stamped as per ISPM 15 requirements.
- Vapour heat treatment (VHT) at 46°C (inner pulp temperature) for 20 minutes
- Vapour heat treatment (VHT) at 47°C (inner pulp temperature) for 15 minutes
- Irradiation at a minimum absorbed dose of 150Gy
Fumigation with Methyl Bromide at 32g/m3 for 2 hours at 21°C
