Seeds arriving with any pests, diseases or contaminants (including fruit pulp / seed cone) are subject to confiscation and destruction.
If stated on the import permit, the consignment must be accompanied by an invoice from the supplier endorsing the supplier's name, address, contact details and specific product information including the botanical name and quantity.

If required by the import permit, the physical address of the place of production where the seeds were grown and collected must be added in the additional product description field of the RFP following the format "SEEDS ORIGINATE IN: <PHYSICAL ADDRESS OF THE PLACE OF PRODUCTION>". There is to be no deviation from this text format. To enable the additional product description field on the RFP, the exporter must submit a request to the EXDOC Plant Programs via email (EXDOCPlantPrograms@aff.gov.au).
