Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Extraneous material should not exceed 1%.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Import permits supplied which require certification inrelation to extraneous material, the exporter must provide evidence that theextraneous material is not above 1% through laboratory test results.Certification can be provided on a Certificate as toCondition (GX46) if requested.

Consignments are to be fumigated with an appropriate fumigant at the recommended manufactures requirements.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Details of treatment to be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate in the treatment section.
