Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsement 7060:

  • Carrot yellow leaf virus is not known to occur in Australia, no evidence needs be presented to endorse freedom from this pests.
  • Crop inspection report must be presented as evidence to endorse freedom from Bacterial blight of carrot (Xanthomonas campestris), Carrot mottle dwarf virus and Carrot red leaf virus .
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 7060):
1) Carrot yellow leaf virus is not known to occur in Australia,
2) The crop was inspected during active growth and found free from Carrot mottle dwarf virus, Carrot red leaf virus and Bacterial blight of carrot (Xanthomonas campestris).
