Phytosanitary visual inspection may be used for endorsing freedom from Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variable) and Oriental cowpea weevil (Callosobruchus chinensis).
Red witchweed (Striga asiatica) is recognised as not occurring in any Australian states and territories except the Mackay area of Queensland. Australian consignments of Triticumaestivum seed can be endorsed free from Striga asiatica without any evidence presented except for seed sourced from the Mackay area which cannot be endorsed.
Explanation of the endorsements
Endorsements 3175 and 5771:
If requiredthe statement “OFFICIAL LABORATORY ANALYSIS NUMBER (NUMBER) / DATE (DATE)" can be entered in the "Additional product description field"section of the EXDOC Request for Permit (RFP). Thereis to be no deviation from this text format.To enable the field on the RFP the exporter must submit a request to theEXDOC Plant program via (EXDOCPlantPrograms@agriculture.gov.au).

1) The consignment was inspected and found free of Trogodermaspp and Oriental cowpea weevil (Callosobruchuschinensis),
2) The crop was inspected during active growth and found freeof Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense) and Wheat nematode (Anguinatritici),
3) Theconsignment has been sourced from an area recognised by SENASA as free from Red witchweed (Strigaasiatica).
Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 3175)
1) The consignment was inspected and found free of Trogodermaspp and Oriental cowpea weevil (Callosobruchuschinensis),
2) Theconsignment was found to be free by official laboratory testing of Perennialthistle (Cirsium arvense) and Wheat nematode (Anguina tritici),
3) Theconsignment has been sourced from an area recognised by SENASA as free from Red witchweed (Strigaasiatica).
Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 5770)
