Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Explanation of the endorsements

Phytosanitary visual inspection of a representative sample may be used to endorse freedom from Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variabile).

Endorsement 610 and 2271:

If required the statement "OFFICIAL LABORATORY ANALYSIS NUMBER (NUMBER) / DATE (DATE)" can be entered in the "Additional product description field" section of the EXDOC Request for Permit (RFP). There is to be no deviation from this text format. To enable the field on the RFP the exporter must submit a request to the EXDOC Plant program via (EXDOCPlantPrograms@agriculture.gov.au).

Endorsement 7967:
  • Visual inspection by the Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse freedom from Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variabile).
  • A crop inspection report is required to endorse freedom from Nodding broomrape (Orobanche cernua), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor) and Branched broomrape (Orobanche ramosa) and Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense).

Endorsement 7968:

  • Visual inspection by the Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse freedom from Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variabile).
  • A crop inspection report must be presented as evidence of freedom from Nodding broomrape (Orobanche cernua), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor) and Branched broomrape (Orobanche ramosa).
  • A laboratory analysis certificate is required to endorse freedom from Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense).
  • If required the laboratory analysis certificate number and date can be entered in the "Additional product description field" section of the EXDOC Request for Permit (RFP) as: LABORATORY ANALYSIS NUMBER <NUMBER> / DATE <DATE>. There is to be no deviation from this text format. To enable the field on the RFP the exporter must submit a request to the EXDOC Plant program via (EXDOCPlantPrograms@aff.gov.au).
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 668)
1) The consignment is free of Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variabile),
2) The crop was inspected during active growth and found free of Sunflower broomrape (Orobanche cumana), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor), Branched broomrape (Orobanche ramosa) and Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense).

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 618)
1) The consignment is free of Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variable),
2) Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense) is known not to occur in the area of production,
3) The crop was inspected during active growth and found free of Sunflower broomrape (Orobanche cumana), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor) and Branched broomrape (Orobanche ramosa).

Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 609)
1) The consignment is free of Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variable),
2) Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense), Sunflower broomrape (Orobanche cumana), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor) and Branched broomrape (Orobanche ramosa) are known not to occur in the area of production.

Option 4 (EXDOC Endorsement 611)
1) The consignment is free of Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variable),
2) Sunflower broomrape (Orobanche cumana), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor) and Branched broomrape (Orobanche ramosa) are known not to occur in the area of production,
3) The crop was inspected during active growth and found free of Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense).

Option 5 (EXDOC Endorsement 610)
1) The consignment is free of Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variable),
2) Sunflower broomrape (Orobanche cumana), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor) andBranched broomrape (Orobanche ramosa) are known not to occur in the area ofproduction,
3)
The consignment was found to be free by officiallaboratory testing of Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense).

Option 6 (EXDOC Endorsement 2271)
1) The consignment is free of Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variabile),
2) The crop was inspected during active growth and found free of Sunflower broomrape (Orobanche cumana), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor) and Branched broomrape(Orobanche ramosa),
3)
The consignment was found to be free by officiallaboratory testing of Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense).

Option 7 (EXDOC Endorsement 7967)
1) The consignment is free of Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variabile),
2) The consignment was officially inspected during the growing period and found to be free from Nodding broomrape (Orobanche cernua), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor), Branched broomrape (Orobanche ramosa) and Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense).

Option 8 (EXDOC Endorsement 7968)
1) The consignment is free of Warehouse beetle (Trogoderma variabile),
2) The consignment was officially inspected during the growing period and found to be free from Nodding broomrape (Orobanche cernua), Common broomrape (Orobanche minor), Branched broomrape (Orobanche ramosa),
3) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Perennial thistle (Cirsium arvense).
Import permits dated 2 August 2017, 19 November 2019, 09 August 2021 and 6 November 2024.
