Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
If required by the import permit, exporters must meet demonstrate the technical requirements of varietal conformity, varietal purity and germination capacity.
 
Explanation of the endorsements
 
Endorsement 8413:
  • A crop inspection certificate is required to endorse freedom from Broomrape (Orobanche spp) and Dodder (Cuscuta spp).
Endorsement 8414:
  • An area freedom certificate is required to endorse freedom from Broomrape (Orobanche spp) and Dodder (Cuscuta spp).
Endorsement 8478:
  • A supplier's declaration is required to endorse freedom from Broomrape (Orobanche spp) and Dodder (Cuscuta spp).
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 8413) 
1) The crop was inspected during active growth and found free from Broomrape (Orobanche spp) and Dodder (Cuscuta spp).
 
Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 8414)
1) Broomrape (Orobanche spp) and Dodder (Cuscuta spp) are known not to occur in the area of production.
 
Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 8478)
1) The seed originates directly from production fields certified and declared free from regulated harmful organisms including Broomrape (Orobanche spp) and Dodder (Cuscuta spp).
